Some people missing the whole point of a cover, it's a new interpretation and not meant to be a clone. This is a tribute to the song and a damn fine one at that.
Vedder's voice is unique, but at times he doesn't scale the heights he reaches at other times...that's just called being human... :oP

I love that I can get completely lost in a Boyce Avenue cover, as I'm listening I feel as if I'm on a journey and by the end of the song when I finished my journey there is just this great feeling of satisfaction and I realize I have had a stupid grin on my face the entire time haha great job Boyce Avenue!!

I was 13 years old when this song was released and Pearl Jam was my favorite band. I lost myself to this song thousands of times through my headphones. I love Eddie Vedder and Pearl jam. I still think this is a great cover personally, if it sounded exactly like Eddie Vedder, than what's the point? I could just listen to the original. Great cover man. I enjoy this a lot.

Great cover my man. You didn’t try to replicate Vedder. As cliche as it sounds you made this song yours. You didn’t go over the top trying to sing high with the “Daddy didn’t give attention...” you did it in your zone & knocked it outta the ballpark!!!

I can't believe he did a cover of Pearl Jam. He is such a gifted singer and has great taste in music!

This song isn´t just any song, and you need to feel it in your entire body 100 %. You can´t fool people with it, especially not Pearl Jam fans who are used to Vedder. I think you did well, most people wouldn´t pull this off, but you need even more anger and passion and something more like "fire" that can´t even be explained, it has to be felt. This type of music will always outshine today´s pop music when it comes to passion, emotions and authenticity and you can´t just be technically good to do it justice.

aight listen up man. you're my new hero. playing this song ain't an easy task, not mentioning singing while playing it and you just did it flawlessly. that was a great and refreshing version to PJ's Jeremy i'm listening for decades by now. I really liked the way you took it to the solo direction and a bit more slow. nailed it.
