The fact that you can scrap even the implants you have installed on mechs is just deceptive. When you go to the scrap menu, it shows all the implants you have so its easy to misclick and select one you're actively using. And when you scrap it, its gone for good 😂

One thing that's missing imo and would've made a lot of sense is being able to change implants in the same pilots for different load outs.
If you remove an implant from a pilot it removes it from all of your hangars which doesn't makes a lot of sense with this new system

Completely Agree on all aspects. The generic implants removal is a thing to fear. People who already have them are lucky. Maybe buying few duration and cooldown might not be the worst idea. But old mechs dont have mech specific cooldown implants like surge panther etc, unless add them (which is unlikely) they cant remove generic ones. Only new mechs have special cooldown implants. Maybe they took out generic dmg for testing how it works. Too much thought into how to make more money from new system rather than improving the system.

It's sad, so what's the need of the implant market if only legendary implants can be bought, you can't buy epics or lowers. And you can only buy legendary implants for a lot of money. You see I'm Nigerian and to buy I'll have to pay 55k which is insane. I hate the way they handled this

Availability is something Mech Arena lacks in general. Like stated in the video, implants available for a bit of a mark up is still better than not being available at all. I doubt they'll get rid of universal implants like "generic mech cooldown" but they are definitely trying to phase them out in favor of more specific/profitable implants.
Also, how many years are we having to wait for things to become free to play accessible now?

Great video! New implant system is good, market is a psychological money grab. By them showing the premium prices on implants, they can now flog off “70+%” off implant bundles in the shop (get 3 leggy implants for the price of 1)… or a discounted single implant to $10. This will increase the micro spending players. But over all I agree. There should have been an option for ingame currency…

First we used to get back the Implant parts whenever we removed an Implant but now we won't be able to do even that.

every day this thing is showing why even game pass or geforce now is a better alternative that this cash grab disguised as a game (pd: the ability of removing implants was always there, you just lose on resources, just like now)

Don't have a single implant for revoker. :( not paying A$60 each. Also watched all of ruffles videos on mech implants and wouldn't personally use the auto install function. I do like how it shows which pilot has active implants so I don't have to go searching. Like you said, a mixed bag.

Hi Scape - Two things :
#1 -No preset in multiple hangers ...I would've liked to jump from one hanger with a specific pilot/ implant combo to the same pilot, but different build automatically in another hanger, instead of manually changing him .
#2 - no freedom for pilot power growth ? ... I got 3 close range pilots, so I need the diversity of using them with weapons and implants other than close range ! Can install, but not practical if you are limited with the power .😢

Not all legendary and epic implants go from 0-23% or that of 0-30% increase .

The ability to be able to pick out the implant, click on it and see how it helps and maybe even which mechs it’s may work it (I did that recently with seeker to see if the ability damage implant helped) is helpful.

This has been removed and should be brought back especially if we are looking to pay an absurd amount of money for the legendary. Would be nice to come and contrast them; currently if we click on an epic implant it does not give you more information, but rather takes you to that other implant page.

Pilots CAN equip implants for weapons outside their specialty, but only if you set up the pilot, mech and other weapon first..

Honestly, was there a good update or change that they made, even gear hub is kind of a shop to buy with money, at least before with non skewed ecrs you would be lucky do get stuff sometimes or just wait a few months after the new item is released for a coins in an ecr

For me, I don’t really mind how the market is, because it doesn’t make anything worse for me. Doesn’t really affect me so I just see it a pretty positive update. But I understand people’s frustration
