Hot Car Safety Pt. 2

What would you do if you spotted a child locked in a vehicle on a HOT day? We are here to make sure you are prepared.

If you can’t get a child out of a locked car:

▶️ Confirm all doors are locked.

▶️ Call 911.

▶️ Flag down help and gather witnesses.

▶️ Break a side window away from the child.

▶️ Reach in and unlock doors. 80% of the temperature increase in the car happens within the first 30 minutes. Every second counts.

▶️ Rescue the child and stay with them until law enforcement or first responders arrive.
