Jiro ramen shops usually don't allow filming inside their stores. So I don't recommend tourists visit them.

Okay maybe yourself or someone else that knows more about the topic and answer this but as an American I've always wondered about Japanese obsession with ramen? Here in America we can get it for really cheap 50 cents a pack lots of times or a dollar a cup. It only comes with a flavor packet when you buy it that way but still you can't beat the price. I look at it as just a cheap food that you get when you're broke or there's nothing else to eat but you all seem to embrace it over there and it's like one of your main dishes I just don't get how it could be so different for us compared to Japan
