I think I like the new version but I also realize I would be in way over my head trying to use the new features. I do really, really like the cold weather cut off, that opens up a whole new world of batteries for me. That said, even at 69 years young I can still learn new things. Keep the good stuff coming Clark.

Very pleased repeat customer.

Just purchased a BBMS Gen 3 for a solar home (48vdc). This was primarily based on my experience this summer with a BBMS Gen 2.3 that I bench tested and then installed on my boat (12v) in the spring.

The unit on the boat worked out really well for me. I left comments as I progressed on "Upgrade to Lithium - the Smarter, Cheaper Way (BankManager)" video but I do not know how to include a link.

I learned a lot doing the boat install. I really like the new generation and the remote terminals.

For me the Gen 3 'Shutdown Temperature' feature is also a great addition.

Looking forward to installing this second unit.

Can I suggest that you make a video with the display in action? I think people would like to see that. We all like glowing gadgets.

Just ordered the "48V" solenoid for my BM2 but the listing was "36 & 48" with no option for choosing the "48V". Should I assume it works reliably for Both 36volt and 48 volt systems?? I will be using it in a 48 volt system. Could you please add a link for "Want to up grade your BM2? Choose the following upgrades: ? (not all of us are programers or engineers....)

Nice job. I have a totally different question to run by you. When starting my twin engine Searay, at idle the voltage gages will read 13.5, when I increase the rpm the gages will peg to 18(max) and will stay there even if I come back to idle. Any ideas, because I am lost. Thanks for any imput.

Just made an order today including a bistable contactor. Can't wait to experiment with it. : )

Well damn, I just bought the Gen 2 a few weeks ago.

This is essentially an (over-priced) but simple programable switch, that connects (and disconnects) the two battery chemistries together in parallel. This will invalidate your battery warranty and shorten your battery life. Dont do it! Buy a proper dc to dc converter from a reputable manufacturer and save your self a lot of grief.

Nice features on the upgraded v3. Man u need to get this installed, I feel like such a slacker. I bought the V1 and still haven't installed it, I think I'm going to sell it to my dock neighbor and get 2 V3's now!

I love it. Such a great device. Definitely something we want to install on our sailing yacht.
Will BBMS get CE mark? How long will it take?

Planning my install but not sure what do with the battery sensors that are on each of our 6 AGM’s that tie into our Schieber monitor/control system. Can I put them on the Lithium and just reprogram the Schieber for the new bank ah capacity?

You mention that this device works well with a joint lithium (house) + start (lead acid) system. Does one need to remove the existing automatic (or even manual) battery combiner?

Future proofing 👏! Thank you for incorporating all the early adopter feedback 🙌 I am one of your Gen3 pre orders and very excited to 🛠️incorporate it into our 🚐 class b RV over the next few months!

Can you use a winch 12v 500a contactor that has both + and - shut off? (common on amazon for WARN automotive winches). Advisable or should I stay away? Also how does the BankManager work with high current draw sources (electric winch, anchor windlass, maybe a bow thruster in the future...) Does it turn on the lithium during those short bursts of high current draw/voltage drop and then turn it off when it is no longer used? Thanks!!

Hi Clark this is Gary on Moonlight lady we are presently in looper on and have a problem with our bank manager generation too. What acid dropped to 10 V and the lithium never kicked in. How should I troubleshoot this to resolve the problem. Thank you very much
