Create a Date Picker in Power BI (Simple Trick) - Part 1

Select a single date picker in Power BI?
Power BI date slicer does not allow us to pick a single date. It is either dates between, relative date, vertical list or drop-down. But what if we want to create a single date picker where if we select a single date, we want the report to update the visuals for that particular date?

This tutorials shows how to create a date picker visual in Power BI. creating a date picker is very helpful when you want to display data or information for one particular date which is the feature we don't have in PowerBI.

I followed the steps but when i pick the next date it keeps accumulating the data for all days i have picked and makes the dates already picked inactive so I can't click on them again. Why is that?

Haha it is funny to see that the incident number is a text, once i had 20 tables i had to append and in one of them i forgot to change the type thus broke the whole table and it took me 2 days to realise my mistake
