These are my worked solutions to the AQA AS Level Physics Paper 1 from 2018.

I thought for 3.3 it would be none of them since I thought that photons need the energy exactly equal to the difference between 2 energy levels

50:20 maybe you skipped this for simplicity since it works out the same, but potential difference is only shared like this in series. Shouldn’t you have officially combined the resistors in parallel and then worked out individual resistances

hi for question 2.4 why are there no horizontal forces acting on the truck? because i'd agree that initially when there isn't any rain water in the truck the car will move at a constant velocity and hence newtons 1st law would still apply. but then as the mass due to the rain water builds up would that not exert a force in the opposite direction when the rain moves to the other end of the truck. and hence it will no longer move with a constant speed as there is now an external force acting on the truck?

How come for question 7, white light passes through the double slits as would it not be monochromatic, coherent light due to the single slit before the double?
