Thanks for watching,

I don't think they actually give a shit that their papers are inaccessible when they've just given us that paper 2

If they could stop writing questions over 3 pages, that would be great.

Now they just made paper 2 questions effectively paper 3 😭

as someone who sat the 2023 papers - this addition would have been really useful since all 3 of the questions in section A i could not relate to any of my classes XD. Astrophysics part was brilliant though and is what bagged me the A*😁

Man I remember binging these videos last year, really brings me back and massive thanks for helping me and other students make it through the storm that was 2023's exam

Hey! A bit off topic here, but I wanted to say thanks for the help. I used to binge watch your videos back in 2019 when I was preparing for A-levels. Currently doing my postgrad in Adv Chemical Engineering. I'm enjoying it but I do miss those simpler times 😂. Anyway, once again thanks for the help all those years ago.

I did these papers last year. The 3A was like nothing I'd seen before! Hardest one since the new exams started. I was feeling so prepared after using all available resources and your papers! It was so disheartening it was horrible to feel so lost in an exam I'd worked so hard for. Glad they're doing something about it.

Just to put into perspective how hard paper 3a is, I did my exams last year and got an A overall, but a D somehow in paper 3a. And no it was not a bad day of exam, because we did paper 3b (turning points) at the same time in which got an A*.

How could they get this so wrong though? Shouldn't this have been evident beforehand if the paper was checked properly? After all AQA is the largest Physics exam board in the country and ought to have enough resource to assess the paper accurately before release.

I did the a level last year. Paper 1 and 3 was a joke compared to paper 2. Paper 3 was my last exam and I genuinely felt like I could have gotten a C overall just because of that exam. Ended up getting an A* tho somehow

Looking back at last year, that 2023 series really killed my enthusiasm for Physics. Managed to get an A overall, but gosh I am happy AQA decided to change things for the better for the following years

I did the aqa last year and it was so grim, somehow got an A out of it but jeez it was hard. Paper 1 and 3 were terrible

Why *this* change which is just a sop? Why have they not listened to feedback that the questions were too to access?

grade boundary sounds like further mechanics in further maths 9231 - 25/50 for A and 21/50 for B in November 2020 and 24/50 and 18/50 for B in November 2021. A went from 24/50 to 34/50 from November 2021 to June 2022.

If you can't even identify the experiment it's linking too, do you really have much of a shot at answering the question to begin with?

how do you think this will affect the grade boundaries??? is it suddenly going to be super high

Sorry, what are the differences between all the papers? 1 2 3? Why was 3a different?

im planning to sit physics next year, i work from home independently using your videos and have already covered a fair range of a level topics (as i did do half of yr12 in sixth form before leaving for personal reasons). im not sure which exam board to enter myself into, as i dont know if it does matter, and if it does matter what are they key pros and cons of each? for a bit extra background and information i achieved a grade average of 8 at gcse, and am also doing a level maths (sitting this year) and then physics, psychology and further maths the following year. i was an a* student at sixth form in all my subjects and have a deep interest in physics and maths outside of school. i hopefully want to go to oxford or cambridge but we shall see how that goes. my main interests are in maths and theoretical physics as well as astrophysics. and yeah just wanted some feedback and help on deciding. thank you in advance for if you get back to me :)
