Could you please answer me this? For 6.6 why the frequency remain the same? when the whole 1/2L x root T/U need to time 1/3, the frequency should time 1/3 too?

quick question about 5.5, i understand you process however the mark scheme seems to do something i dont understand so when marking my paper i wasnt sure where to award marks despite seeming to understand the question

how to objects stay the same colour - if the frequency of the re-emitted photon is dependent on the frequency of the photn the electron absorbed, how does an atom continuously produce a photon of the same colour/ why is an atoms colour constant?
