For the money that looks a great bit of kit. I was surprised it milled the outside of the acrylic before milling out the holes. Many years ago I was using a large Pacer router and the software always ordered paths from inside to outside. Great video as always.

Went ahead and ordered one. I'm a journeyman level machinist. This machine is great for the money, but really could use upgrades to the whole z axis, as well as increasing rigidity to the frame. Weight is your friend here.

For control panels, button boards, etc. there is a common plastic used for name tags and such that’s basically a lamination of black and white plastic. For a small additional investment your button boxes can look quite professional.

Also you can edge light engraved plexiglass or lexan. There are lots of cool small projects this thing can do.

amstudio, you are one of the best youtubers of sim racing. You DIY so many parts and its so cool how you show us and that it is budget friendly. You are a smaller channel that produces some amazing high quality videos. You have your own small community and its awesome. Keep up the great work.

Looks like it has potential, I suppose the first upgrade would be to replace the 3D printed spindle mount. The price certainly looks good.

Thanks! This video is awesome. I’ve set mine up, but for some reason, my CNC router moves in the opposite z and x directions, but the y works well when I send the commands of use the jog control.

Have you seen this before?

So what i have seen for what you get it is dirt cheap and im also guessing as long as you use the right tool cutting speed and so on it's possible to use this machine for metal as well

That's such an awesome little mill! I've been looking into getting a small scale one, so this might be something I'll have to try out. Are there any other small scale and decently affordable other options similar to this that you know of and may be reviewing in the future?
