how pleasantly surprised i was when i got to the musical segment of this quest. my brother came into the room hearing it, thinking i was watching a musical without him, followed by confusion when he saw i was playing warframe

I'm newer player as well. As far as i understand of the lore all the frames we craft in game are copies of the originals, with the original frames being actual Orokin people injected with the Helminth stuff to cause the transformation. So i assume that was the original Sevagoth, after we acomplish his last mission and give him a "Burial at sea" we then get to repilcate his frame for our own use.

The ending is representative of a viking funeral if you were wondering, sailing the void fighting other ships with a sea shanty and viking funeral included as major parts is such a cool side quest

So, I dunno if you clocked it, but the musical segment where you play as Sevagoth's Shadow is representing it protecting you/your frame after you were knocked out by that pulse from Vala's ship. After you finish it and wake up, you can see all the corpses of the Corpus boarding crews it cut down. Also, while it does go on for a bit long, the song is *fire* and I like how it gives you a way to play around a little with Sevagoth's ult.

At the end of the quest, we essentially gave Sevagoth a ship burial, sending him off as a gesture of gratitude for all the lives Sevagoth have saved in his time as the captain of the Tempestarii

I had played Warframe for two days long ago, I got back into it a couple months after Sevagoth was released. A friend of mine offered to buy me a frame if I played Warframe with him, now I have played it far more than he has. The frame I chose was Sevagoth. By far one of my favorite frames in the whole game.

idk y im an emotional mess today, as a vet I've seen this quest countless times and helped friends through it, just thinking it was super cool, for some reason hearing cy talking abt sev and just in general this mess almost made me cry wtf :/
