In this video I cover the basics of using the Waiters Friend Corkscrew. This corkscrew is used by most sommeliers and professionals alike.

The trick to opening a bottle of wine with a Waiters Corkscrew is leverage. In addition, it's important to open the wine as quietly as possible.

I think the most important takeaways in this demo is the place where to make the cut on the foil of the wine bottle. I've created a slow motion section to specifically show why it's important to cut the foil on the lower part of the lip of the foil.

Interesting, I never realized all of the dust and dirt that could potentially be mixed in with the wine. Thank you for the help!

I loved the slow motion section you added that shows the wine coming in contact with the lip of the bottle. I never realized how important it was to make the cut there. Nice Kitchen too!
