I know this video is 3 yrs old but I just wanted to say thank you 🙏🏼. I’m just getting into wine 🍷. I had a long and exhausting 2 days of work this weekend. I got off and stop by the store to buy a bottle of wine. Went home and noticed I don’t have a corkscrew! I tried to drill a screw in it and pull it out but it didn’t work. So before I could ruin the cork, I told my boyfriend, let me check YouTube. So thank you cause he opened for me on first try with the knife 🔪

I used the screw and a pair of scissors! I twisted the screw in with my hand. And used the scissors to pull and twist. When the cork came out, I felt like a champion!!
