Apparently Apple almost released a $50 Apple Pencil this year alongside the iPhone 14 models and it would have worked with the iPhone.... or at least one somewhat sketchy rumor says so.

Personally I think people should have the OPTION to use the Apple Pencil for the iPhone but I also don’t think it would fit into my lifestyle at all 😅
