Description: The March by Vasilij Agapkin, the staff trumpeter of the 7th Reserve Cavalry regiment of The Russian Imperial Army, brilliant in strength, simplicity, and beauty, was written in 1912 in connection with the beginning of the Balkan war. Later it became a real symbol of the Russian army in the Great War, after which it will forever remain the main March of Russia. The original version was performed without words, although different versions of the lyrics appeared in 1914, 1915, and later. In this video, the poems of 1990 by the Irkutsk poet, composer, and playwright Andrej Mingalyov, are taken, they are dedicated to the awakening and revival of Russia, and its liberation from Soviet shackles. The song is performed by the Kuban Cossack Choir.
