Farewell of Slavianka - Russian Female Soldiers in Victory Day Parade 2015-2020 (1080P)

I put Russian female soldiers in Victory Day parade 2015-2020 footage together, and match it with my favorite Russian march "Farewell of Slavianka" (Прощание славянки). Steps were accelerated from 102%-110% to synchronize with the tempo of march, lot of work involved in Logic Pro. Not perfect, but already tried our best.

This parade makes me think of the quote from Lyudmila Pavlichenko, the Soviet sniper who killed hundreds of nazis during the War. She was touring the US during Roosevelt's term. The press would not take her seriously and kept asking about her uniform, saying it made her look fat. Her response:

“I wear my uniform with honor, ” she told Time magazine. “It has the Order of Lenin on it. It has been covered with blood in battle. It is plain to see that with American women what is important is whether they wear silk underwear under their uniforms. What the uniform stands for, they have yet to learn.”
