Nice video!. My favourite kind of strange but yet beautiful idioms in English are these: to wear my heart on my sleeve, to drive somebody up the wall and last but not least the green - eyed monster. 😂

I wonder what do French people think of this idiom “pardon my French”? 😅

Haha ... I got 8 out of 10 (didn't know about picking one's brain and the twisted knickers ... 😜). I guess I won't forget those two after watching your vivid explanation. 😅 In German we have a graphic way of saying someone's dead: he bit into the grass. 😉

Got 9/10 ! Many are the same/similar in German.

10 out of 10, usually before you even gave us the three options :-). Well, I do live in the States and the only one people here do NOT use is the "knickers in a twist" one, but then I also live in London for 6 months.

If you look closely, Mitch's head wasn't twisted 360 degrees or crushed by an elephant or kicked in the head. It was all just clever editing and CGI.

Some jobs require you to “be under the bus” to call out. LOL

There must be long ago stories for how these idioms were started! 😂 Is there one that is about a tiger's tail?
