Concorde could fly at more than twice the speed of sound — about 1,350 mph — allowing it to cross the Atlantic in under three and a half hours, compared to the typical eight-hour flight. It was famous for its sleek design and cutting-edge technology. Concorde was a joint project between British and French aerospace companies, and despite its speed and luxury, high operating costs and limited seating capacity kept it exclusive. The plane retired in 2003, but it remains a symbol of aviation innovation and luxury travel.
