I see the tips saying place chains vertically instead traps on the upper level, but it should be specified to not place them lengthwise, place from the front to the back (touching the front glass and back solid block); 4 individual chains rather than one long one. This might be a given to some, but this is to help those who don't (like my son who I helped with this).

Top video my guy, working perfect on Java 1.19.4, i think what people arent understanding is the water mechanic to push the calf down, i Breed, and push water through, the calf drops everytime, so kudos, this is a lossless farm for me so far

remove the trapdoors on the first floor of the farm, replace it with signs so that the steaks and leathers can drop into the hopper

I would suggest adding vertical chains where you add the top trap doors at 1:19 in the video. sometimes the baby cow gets stuck and won't fall because of the trap door.

Use stone button, it has lower uptime than wooden button. Might help someone who's struggling with the drops getting burned in lava.

Edit: Just use something that has very low uptime. tripwire/level/etc all those might help. :2

When I put a redstone behind the observer, it refreshes and does not stop. I don't know what the problem is, I did the same as in the video.

Not all of the baby cows seem to drop with the trapdoors, even with the water.

About 1/3 of the meat is not being cooked and going into the chest raw. Is it a clock (timing) problem?

When I press the button for lava it just flashes on and off and doesn't stop unless I break the Redstone, how can I fix this?
