We were practically raised on cereal. As an adult, I cut out fat, used margarine and vegetable oil and all I got for my troubles are 3 heart attacks and 3 stents. At least I am still breathing. It's amazing just how much we were lied to in the name of money. 17:37

Mom said; there's cereal in the cupboard, everytime I asked "whats for breakfast". When I graduated and left home I swore to never eat cereal again. 60 now and still don't go near it. Thanks Mom!

I ate those kinds of foods since the 1970`s . My grandpa ate bacon, eggs and ham from his farm. He slaughtered his own pigs and beef. All the vegetables came from his garden. Everything he cooked was with lard. Grandpa lived to 98 and grandma lived to 104. Grandma said he died early because he drank homemade wine. They drank water from a well and that`s what made coffee and tea from.

I'm a label reader, I drink Unsweetened tea, coffee with half/half, honey raw unfiltered, vanilla extract, water. I limit my sugar intake because of inflammation. When in the grocery store I buy fresh vegetables, I buy my meats from Omaha Steaks 🥩 my best friends are Garlic, Turmeric, Ginger & Cayenne Pepper 😉

My Grandmother fixed oatmeal every morning and my Grandfather lived to be 100 years old. She lived to 98 years old. No dementia no obesity very healthy considering her age.

Gonna have to disagree with you on intermittent fasting, skipping breakfast and time fasting in general. For me skipping breakfast ( only consuming lemon water and black coffee) and eating within a 16:8 window really helps me feel light and energetic. Helps me keep a healthy weight and feel great overall

I don't eat breakfast. I have a large lunch (mostly meat, but sometimes I have some veg), and then I will eat a small meal about 8 or 9 before I go to bed (usually a little cheese and some meat). I have no heart problems and a 0 CAC score. 5 years ago I was eating my bowl of Oatmeal every morning. I weight over 200 pounds more and had and A1C in the 14's on 300+ units of insulin a day. Now I am not diabetic anymore.

She prepared a hot Oates meal for BF, for her.
Her mom looked at the Oates and said; are you going to feed me, what we only fed to pigs 🐖.
