Fill Commands (Updated) (Fill, Replace, Keep, Destroy, Hollow, Outline)

Minecraft Bedrock Fill Command Tutorial Updated Version using new snytax for block states. Includes basic fill commands as well as advanced features including keep, replace, destroy, hollow and outline. How to do fill with xyz coordinates or also ~~~. As well as how to use ticking areas for larger fill commands.

Fill Command Examples:

/fill ~~~ ~10~~10 stone []
/fill ~~~ ~10~~10 stone ["stone_type":"granite"]

Replace:
/fill ~~~ ~10~~10 air [] replace stone []
/fill ~~~ ~10~~10 planks ["wood_type":"spruce"] replace stone ["stone_type":"diorite"]

Keep:
/fill ~~~ ~10~~10 dirt [] keep

Destroy:
/fill ~~~ ~10~~10 air [] destroy

Hollow:
/fill ~~~ ~10~10~10 sea_lantern []
Outline:
/fill ~~~ ~12~12~12 bedrock []

I've been scouring the internet for a few hours now trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with the fill/replace command and (luckily) stumbled upon your video. Dude, THANK YOU! Apparently there's another update. To fill an area with smooth quartz, its now actually /fill xyz xyz quartz_block ["chisel_type"="smooth"]. The only difference is that its "=" instead of ":" Took me a while to figure out.

Mistakes, LOL! Just yesterday I tried the new fill command syntax to replace villager oak step roofs with spruce, and wouldn't you know it, all of the new steps faced the same direction. So I manually replaced 75% of them. Thanks for the updated video!

If you wanna /fill wool, concrete, concrete powder, or terracotta do (I’m using concrete as an example)
/fill ~~~ ~~~ concrete [“color”:”(insert colour here)”]

UPDATE AS OF 1.20.10/1 20.11 YOU MUST CHANGE THE : SYMBOL IN THE BLOCK STATE TO =

EXAMPLE:

/fill xyz xyz stone ["stone_type"="granite"]

what should you do if you want colored glass because it doesn't work with the "block_type" it says it doesn't work with glass blocks

I hate the new system tbh like I cannot do the commands I have tried many tutorials why can’t Minecraft go back to log 1, 2, 3 etc for the logs and not this bracket “ thing I hate it
