My Gear: New Cuben Fiber Tarp by Hammock Gear

I just upgraded my tarp system to the Cuben fiber tarp by Hammock Gear. Now I have two hammock systems, one to use and one to share/loan. I may still make some modifications, like using shock cord on the fleaz instead of zingit.

I keep my tarp in a set of mesh snake skins. A big advantage is that you can set it up in the skins and not deploy it on a clear night. Then if you wake in the night and rain has moved in you can pull back the skins and stake it out in about a minute (if you can remember where your stakes are when you're barely awake.)
