I really hope Amash can take Biden and Trump to the cleaners. Its a good sign that both Democrats and Republicans are worried about him, here's to an Amash 2020 Presidency.

Why are my political views a "pain in the butt"? Isn't everyone entitled to representation? Once again I have to point out, most libertarians would not have voted for either party. Honestly I think a third party vote is going to be pulling more non-voters than from voters from either party. Republican's and Democrats are pretty cultish. Don't be mad. They are. It's been Red no mater who, and blue no matter who for a long long time. I don't see that changing all that much, not till there is at least one party that has achieved major league status. Amash has the real ability to pull together the disenfranchised from the middle. The large pool of voters that the current primary parties have abandoned in their mad dash to the extremes. But even if you disagree with us Libertarians, this is a good thing. More people represented, means more participation, more progress more change and change is good. Right now we are stuck in this nasty pendulum of disappointment. right then left .. rinse, repeat. Change is good, and the path forward is most likely a little from all points of view. A libertarian third party will encourage change, and cooperation. Lets face it somewhere along the line compromise became a dirty word. It shouldn't be because it represents the best possible outcome from all points of view. While I don't think that he will pull much from either party. But if he does well, it will cause a permanent fissure in the Republican Party. Probably more extreme than Bernie has done to the Democrat Party. To me any break in a consolidation of power that favors one group over others is a good thing. But I would have Voted Vermin over either Trump or Biden my vote is not stolen from either party.

Why does everybody fear the third party? If either of the two we have are so great/convincing, then no one would vote for them

I'm so happy Meghan and Ben are married. It saves two other people.

I love how they're more concerned with simply Biden being hurt, rather than being concerned about having a good president.

Meghan McCain gives too much private information that I am not interested in

Why does Meghan insist to talk about her many “friends” that she has to support her points?

It's funny that Meghan thinks that she is such an expert.

He should run. He'll add SOMETHING to the discourse in what will be an embarrassing election for all

If the USA is indeed the greatest democracy on earth why are these ladies so against a third candidate. It shouldn’t matter as long he or she meets the criteria to run for President. That is what democracy is all about.

If conservatives ever truly cared about limited government, they will vote for Amash. We'll learn soon what their true values are...

Third parties are "a pain in the butt" because the main 2 suck

Just because he voted for impeaching Trump, it doesn't exonerate his previous vote on the tax bill in 2017.

It’s absolutely the time. Your basically saying we don’t deserve to have our views represented in our own government. #Jorgensen2020

Idk about him because I haven't done my research yet, but we really do need to work on viable third parties. Quite frankly, I'd like to see the total destruction of the party system altogether, but I'd settle for having more choices than two horrible men.

I don't think you can really be a libertarian if you're anti-choice.

Meghan's argument makes no sense. How does more conservatives – who would never vote for a Democrat – voting for Amash instead of Trump hurt Biden? Even the number of "never-Trumpers" on the conservative side is probably very low and securing their vote for Biden isn't going to do much for Biden's race. Biden needs to focus on getting the progressive and the independent vote. Conservatives with views like Amash weren't going to vote for a Democrat anyway. She's so biased it's a whirlwind to hear it every day.
