How I turned my iPad into a digital photo frame

I wanted to use my iPad Mini 2 as a digital photo display and had no idea where to start.

After spending way more time than a non-tech savvy person should and failing to find a helpful tutorial online, I managed to figure out how to get it working how I envisioned.

Here is how I easily and securely share photos via iPad.

My question is: If I upload new photos to the icloud photo album that is display via "slideshow" on the Ipad, how long will it take to show these new photos in the slideshow? After several hours I still cannot see the new photos on the slideshow 🤔

Nice. Can you stop the slide show and only allow the user to swipe to change the picture?
