How To Turn On Off iPad Pro & iPad - How To Power Down iPad Pro

Here is how to turn on off the iPad Pro. In this video you will learn how to turn on the iPad Pro and how to turn off the iPad Pro. This is part of the beginners guide to the iPad series. Steps:
How to power on iPad Pro
Simply locate the power button on the top right of the device, click and hold for a few seconds and when you see the Apple logo appear, it is powered on.

How to power down iPad Pro
Locate the power button on the top right of the device and the volume up button on the right side of the device. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously until you see the words Slide To Power Off appear on screen. Then, simply slide the slider to power it off.

Thanks! I just got a new 12.9 and thought it went into sleep mode but a week later no charge left so figured there must be a way to power it down. My roommate also thanks you, for 2 years he didn't know it powers off, thought if he closed the cover it meant it was no longer using battery and that his ipad couldn't hold a charge. (buying refurbished don't get instruction manuals, perhaps that shut off feature is in there).

So my Apple pencil did show a charging notification but it was stuck on 5 percent and on the widgets it was showing 6 percent with no charging sign on it, restarted the device and it worked like a charm, turns out my pencil was charging all along and It wasn't just showing properly.
