Looks like Robocop got the most important upgrade, the ability to run.

My favorite part of the movie is when Robocop sees that all that is left of him is his organs, face, and a single hand. They did a great job in making that part creepy and real. His brain up high, organs in a clear container, and his brain and core going down a tube. The funniest part was the hand connected by a medal tube, if you watched the movie, you'll know why! This movie is great and makes you wonder, where is the line between human and robot. I believe there is no line, but a wall.

Why do I have the feeling this is actually how the investor meeting went?

"We are gonna make a lot of money!"

I saw this movie today in Sweden, and it was waaay better than I excpected it to be!! After I saw the trailer I had no high expectations about this movie.
I was wrong. It's awesome!

Wow this was a great movie! And they managed to wrap the whole story up in just under 3 minutes. It was very touching to see him return to his family even as a robot. Man I remember back in the day when we had to actually to sit there for 1.5hrs-3hrs just to find out what happened at the end of the movie, glad that's over!

This trailer surprised me, I seriously hope they are attacking a different issue from a different angle. Fear of robots, drones or government/state martial law.

When robocop came out, it was science fiction. This movie is actually dealing with present day issues such as drones and the very near cybernetic revolution that we are dealing with. I applaud this movie for trying to bring these very real societal problems to the public's awareness, so maybe we can start a conversation about them and avoid some of the tyranny that might arise

people are such cry babies when it comes to reboots
now don't get me wrong people I love the originals too
but I never bash a reboot from the trailer, I simply wait for the movie, pay money to see it, then decide if it sucks or not.
I loved Robocop as a kid and im excited for his return on the big screen. sure the story is most likely gonna be different than the original but that's why they call it a reboot and not a remake.
Only thing im not crazy about is the whole making him more tactical and going with all black. but until I do see it this February, I am excited for this movie!

José Padilha should direct a sequel. Let him make whatever he wants to do. Let it be R rated. He'll deliver.

As a fan of the original, i enjoyed this reboot. It was a solid movie that was executed very well. It has ideas from the original but stands as it's own movie. i hope they make a sequel.

At 1:28, that's what the producers of this movie said after they agreed on the PG-13 rating.

For everyone who was Hyper critical of this movie, Appreciate it for what it is! This movie was well made, and although I didn't see the original, which I hear was great in it's own way, this movie did great at being it's own new version of Robocop! I loved how cold and calculated the actor who played Robocop became at one point in the movie, and I felt his roller coaster of emotions he must've had to face!

All in all, if you look at this movie for what it is: A new version of Robocop, and not discounting the original, but capitalizing on it, then you will start to appreciate this movie.
Don't watch a movie with so many preconceptions, but try to have a clean slate in your mind for the movie to fill, otherwise you may miss the suttle qualities a movie can have! :)
