ROBOCOP - Official Trailer #2 - Starring Joel Kinnaman

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

Film looks awesome. Nice to see some homage to the original in a new interpretation.

Now that I have seen the trailer, there's only one thing left to say:

will be a bomb just like total recall. apparently the writers of the film decided to fit the film supposedly in the realm of so called modern thought(anti intellectual. anti individual pro statist) while missing the whole point on why those films were popular in the first place(original total recall and robocop). they dealt with real issues of thought in palatable ways(through action/consequence based scenes with some reflective relational scenes for analyzing humanity).

oh... it's not Michael Bay directing this movie.

you know what would be funny though? if people refused to go watch this movie and instead bought the original Robocop movie. Not only is that the better movie, but it's a lot cheaper too and you don't need to buy overpriced popcorn and drinks to watch it either.
