In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years, but have been forbidden for law enforcement in America. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit - is critically injured, OmniCorp sees their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine.

Seriously? Do you know how bad a 4th degree burn actually is? It's a burn down to the bone. If Murphy were to have 4th degree burns over 80% of his body, he would not have even made it to the ambulance, let alone the hospital

Its a master peice which discusses the emotion, determination, justice, selfishness, politics and dirty strategies of bussiness men. its a beautiful movie that must rate above 7

Questo film è davvero bello! La componente psicologica è devastante come - e forse più - dell'originale. E' un film d'autore. Non va preso alla leggera perchè è una storia che tocca il cuore. Il cast è eccezionale. Il nuovo Murphy è pregevole. Merita di essere visto al cinema.

the good thing is that it actually looks poignant. the sad thing is that the spirit of the original RoboCop movie is lost; the cynicism, the dark humor, the lampoon of Americanism...gone.

At least it might be a better "man-hybrid" movie than Terminator Salvation, but probably won't even touch District 9.
