Spectre - Meeting C | Max Denbigh (HD)

On his return to London, Bond is indefinitely taken off field duty by the current M, who is in the midst of a power struggle with Max Denbigh (also known as the code name 'C', assigned to him by Bond), the head of the newly created Joint Intelligence Service, which consists of the recently merged MI5 and MI6. C also wants to create the "Nine Eyes" intelligence co-operation agreement between nine countries, and close down the '00' section in the process.

Max Denbigh should have been Guy Haines, the big shot from the Quantum of Solace opera scene. It would have given some meat to the Guy Haines character, instead of just dropping a bombshell like "one of the senior leaders of the evil organization is also a senior member of the British government" and then never following up on it. It would have explained why everyone at MI6 distrusts and resents Denbigh right from the get-go. And, well, for narrative purposes they might as well be the same character anyway.

Ralph Fiennes is also an amazing M I've watched bond for years and I always thought the veteran actor Bernard Lee was perfect There were a few others Edward Fox and John Huston but Ralph Fiennes was way above the best choice 💙 ❤️ ♥️ 😀
