Max Denbigh (also known as C, played by Andrew Scott), is revealed to be a traitor and member of SPECTRE, and tries to kill M (Ralph Fiennes).

C: "Now you want to throw it away for the sake of democracy, whatever the hell that is. How predictably moronic. But then isn't that what M stands for, moron?"

M: "And now we know what C stands for. Careless"

Everyone in the cinema when I first went to see this laughed enough at the in-built joke that I actually missed the "careless" line! 😂 Didn't matter though, everyone was busy laughing like a child that Mallory might've just dropped the C-bomb

C may be careless, but he forgot the rule involving pulling the slide back SLIGHTLY to check if the gun is ACTUALLY loaded.

I actually don’t mind the careless line. There’s a nod to the audience ofc, but it shows that M is professional, at all levels. If he dropped the word, it would have lowered M to an informal level
