I have watched every video of Sarah Hallbergs that I could find since I first viewed her TED lecture. Indeed a great inspirational woman. RIP ❤

My heart just dropped when I saw the title of your video. Dr. Sarah Hallberg was such an inspiration to us all. It was clear that she was more than a great physician. She was a woman with a big heart. Even in the midst of her illness, which she knew could end her life soon, she did not retreat from life. With the few short years that she had, she did more to effect the world than most of us would achieve if we lived to 100. Even being cognizant of her short time, she did not wither away in despair. She used her last fleeting moments to make people's lives betters and to fight falsehoods that were impairing their progress. Her scientific contributions to the study of metabolic disease were so significant and she helped so many that her spirit will resonate for generations.

And your work matters to all of us Amy. Depression is such a difficult condition; I’ve struggled from time to time myself. You WILL find what you are looking for. And we are grateful for YOU ❤️!

Amy firstly I am so sorry for the loss of Dr Sarah Hallberg, she was such a inspiration to you and many others and your heartfelt wonderful feelings you had for her had me in tears. Secondly I wish I could give you the biggest hug right now and tell you I was in tears feeling all the sincere feelings you shared and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart. You are so amazing and I love your work, and I am so thankful you are here as a guide to everyone in this space, and have made a difference in my life before this video. This video has touched me like no other as I feel the same way you do, with depression, not knowing what my legacy is, or if I have made a difference in anything or anyones life. I am a single women and no children, my life if any value has been to helping dogs in need by fostering and volunteering rescuing dogs. When you said that you were there for us and anyone who needs support, it just hit me in the heart. Thank you Amy, and you have a faithful friend here online and maybe someday in person. Hugs sweet Amy 🌹

Amy you are already making a difference in thousands of lives. You may not have found your “thing” but I think we don’t always see what is in front of our own eyes.

As a nurse, I can tell you, we need more Diabetes educators! Real educators who talk to patients like intelligent beings capable of making powerful changes in their own lives. I can’t tell you how many of my DM patients who have thanked me for educating them about their disease and how they can make positive changes in that process.

The world is a lesser place without her internal fire, courage and inspiration.

Dr. Hallberg’s TEDTalk is what convinced me that low carb was so valuable. I saw her interview with Peter Attia about 2 years ago and it was so so unreal…she talked about her diagnosis and the things she had done to battle. Hearing her talk about her children and family was so hard . She was a very strong person to even get through that interview. But she was just as real about that as she had been about things prior to her diagnosis. She definitely made an impact on many lives. I’m so glad you did this tribute, even though it was hard for you. 💔

Amy, if you feel you have more to give, I am sure you will work it out, but please don’t underestimate the massive, positive impact you already have on people.
Your work is wonderful, but the person you obviously are is even greater.

Oh no! Prayers for her family and friends. She was a brilliant woman, doctor, and scientist. We have truly lost a great one. 🙏

The reason I’m here today with my diabetes reversed, my blood pressure lowered and in better health than I’ve been in the last 20 years started with her Ted talk. 😢
