The Power of Couchbase Vector Search

In this presentation, our speaker Jon Strabala will delineate the fundamental concepts of vector data, the process of embedding data, and explore the diverse applications our customers pursue using Vector Search. The session will feature practical demonstrations starting with easily comprehensible low-dimensional embeddings, progressing to the more complex high-dimensional embeddings prevalent in generative AI technologies. You will gain firsthand insight into the process of embedding or vectorizing documents, inserting them into Couchbase clusters, and querying the data to locate semantically similar entries.
