Keynote: Couchbase in 2020

Ravi Mayuram, Couchbase CTO, will open the conference with a reflection on key trends and evolving requirements of Couchbase and NoSQL databases in the new decade. He’ll observe that while the trend to separate compute from storage is well under way, especially in analytic circles, there are new requirements for modern, edge-enabled applications. These requirements focus not only on how data is processed, but where it is captured, processed, and consumed. These requirements focus on replication, synchronization, and transactionality in our cloud-to-edge world.
