HW News - Threadripper 2 TDP, Intel Kills Rumors, & X399 Board
Показать описание
We're at LTX this weekend, so just a quick HW news video while traveling. Threadripper 2 TDP, X399 boards, and Intel rumors shutdown.
This hardware news episode talks about Threadripper 2's release date, price, and TDP, and also shows a new Gigabyte Extreme X399 board (that we saw previously at Computex). We discuss Intel's shutting down of greatly exaggerated rumors of Extreme Edition's demise, Germany banning pre-orders (under certain conditions), and memory makers facing more IP and patent theft. This follows a year of concerns regarding memory price-fixing and RAM prices skyrocketing, leading buyers to wonder why RAM is so expensive right now. Additionally, Notepad (yes, that one) has gotten an update in the newest Windows 10 patch.

Links to Amazon and Newegg are typically monetized on our channel (affiliate links) and may return a commission of sales to us from the retailer. This is unrelated to the product manufacturer. Any advertisements or sponsorships are disclosed within the video ("this video is brought to you by") and above the fold in the description. We do not ever produce paid content or "sponsored content" (meaning that the content is our idea and is not funded externally aside from whatever ad placement is in the beginning) and we do not ever charge manufacturers for coverage.
