For those for whom none of this worked, what worked for me was uninstalling Realtek driver, but with DDU, it si a small program that wipes clean audio or video drivers.
I suggest that you learn of to use it before doing anything, but it saved my life, it made me crazy.
Then let Windows and Windows update reinstall it.

If you have a Stealseries Arctis 3 and are using a laptop then the headphone cable is the culprit. When I connected the headphones with the cable from the 5 year old Arctis 3 the sound punching problem disappeared.

my microphone is still taking sounds from the other sound sources but not from outside (my voice)

so my headset mic is picking up the sounds of my music and youtube videos and relaying them through to my discord friends, which are all saying thr audio sounds super muffled and robotic. My voice is not being picked up at all.

The audio it is relaying is coming through my headset, and when I take my headset off I can't hear the audio its playing but the mic is still sending that audio through

I don't know how to fix this
