lestappen being the only non-kpop rpf ship on here is genuinely so crazy. to explain their popularity: they grew up racing each other in go karting, and eventually both made their way to f1. charles is often considered one of two or three drivers that can rival max’s skill, even if he doesn’t always have the car to do it. they have a bit of on-track drama (see austria 2019 and followgate) but generally respect each other and are happy when the other wins.

Just looked at the Femslash list. The was published in the summer and since Arcane season 2 is now out and completed the number of fics went from 6622 in the summer to just over 10, 000 on Christmas Day 2024. That is one big jump in less than six months.

It’s not that solangelo hasn’t been on the spreadsheet before, it’s just that in order to qualify as a “re-entry” a ship has to have been on the spreadsheet within the last five years and they haven’t been on since 2017

I am so sorry for your loss, I recently lost my mom to cancer as well. I got back into reading fanfiction after her diagnosis and reading my favorite ships has been a comfort to me all this time.
