Shanking moved my handicap from 9 to 16 in the last 30 days. I tried the "wristwatch face" drill this afternoon first in practice and then played 9 holes. Not one shank. I was ready to quit golf but thank Goodness I watched your video! I am pumped. Thanks

Thank you. Watched over 10 “How to Fix shanks” videos. Your drills resonated the best.

Started shanking one day and nearly went out of my mind trying to get back on track. Nothing was working until I watched your video. It all made sense. The very next day at the range - cured! The best video treatment of the shank I have ever seen.

Four weeks of frustration and one week staying away from golf until I watched this video. Two days on the range working these tips and today I shot three over par. Thanks!!!

After a dozen other videos, I finally found a great fix for the S Word. Not overly technical, yet grounded in basic swing type issues…e.g. over the top or inside out. Easily repeatable drills also key. This guy is a born teacher. Thanks so much.

Been trying to cure my shanks in the last year and a half. Started using the “glove technique” and I haven’t hit a shank since. I owe my life to you, sir.

Dude! Your face rotation drill has changed my life. I used to shank so bad I would play rounds with all trouble woods and a wedge. Through the years, I discovered that I have a jumpy right knee. I figured out how it should move years ago. (I think right inner thigh into my left leg if my body isn't moving the right way). Anyway, I was kind of a hold off move guy and never released the club so naturally. As you say...lol...I am well into doing thousands of rehearsals with your drill. It helps me marry the turn to my arms. I go to the range. Do one rehearsal, hit one. Works extremely well with my swing. I do a one plane, single plain, rotational....whatever you call it. The guy who taught it to me calls it linear force. The thing I love about it is it gets me into that place of having really soft arms and that fully left finish with high hands. Thats comes and goes with me. This seems to be solving my release problem. Great stuff

you FIXED MY SHANK! thank you so much. I was so frustrated with my swing as a 10 handicapper out shanking EVERY IRON! I was so confused until i tried the drill with the wrist rotation. I finally have my swing back and i’m having a blast out on the course now. Thank you! Subscribed and liked 👌🏻

Been scouring youtube looking for a video that addresses the fundamental issues causing shank and ideal solution. In 1 session at range you have eliminated 90% of my shanking. Thanks

Love this. I tend to shank on a simple pitch form 60 yards in. Started to pivot with my shoulder and it's a great improvement. Just need to practice and tackle the mental side then. Cheers.

Funny, shanking is not my issue. But a proper release is. Your simple drill and thinking about the left shoulder as the pivot point hit made sense. Took it straight out to the course and noticed immediate change in ball striking and impact quality. My long time golf partner was blown away. I'm a member of RS and look forward to future vids by Chris. Thanks, you really are the "release specialist"

Nobody wants to talk about it, nobody wants to focus on it... But unless we do, we won't understand the problem or come to a solution. In my case my right knee is pushing out as I am trying to get in the perfect finish too early I believe. Great vid, thank you!

Shanking the ball is very difficult to overcome. No one could shank a ball 45 degrees better than I. I made my mind up to learn Moe Norman's golf swing or quit golf. Years of work, now I have a golf swing that works. This was not easy to develop, and I still shanked the ball UNTIL I understood Moe's set up and firing sequence of the swing. This swing let me see clearly what was causing the shank. In my case the hips were opening too soon causing the lead side of the body to also open too soon. Moe's swing allowed me to find a set up that kept the lead side in the proper position through out the swing. Follow the set up procedure ZERO shanks, confidence, golf is fun! Age 61 and I stripe the golf ball straight and long! Most would never endure the dedication it took to master this move. It is the simplest move in golf once you understand the ingredients to the set up. You can self correct if you hit a poor shot. All my misses are straight, you can play with that!! Good luck to all those who suffer from the shank! I had to fight cancer in life but the shank is the toughest fight on the planet! It devalues your enjoyment and potential as a golfer. You deserve better, thanks Moe!!!
