ब्रह्मचर्यमहिंसा च शारीरं तप उच्यते।। Gita 17.14।।



देव, द्विज (ब्राह्मण), गुरु और ब्रह्मज्ञानी का पूजन, शौच (सफाई, पवित्रता), आर्जव (सरलता), ब्रह्मचर्य और अहिंसा,
यह शरीर संबंधी तप कहा जाता है।।



Reverence of Godly Being, Preacher/Twice Born, Master; Wise; purity, rectitude, continence, and harmlessness - all this is physical austerity.


अनुद्वेगकरं वाक्यं सत्यं प्रियहितं च यत्।
स्वाध्यायाभ्यसनं चैव वाङ्मयं तप उच्यते।। 17.15 ।।

Hindi Translation By Swami Tejomayananda
जो वाणी उद्वेग उत्पन्न करने वाला नहीं है,
जो प्रिय, हितकारक और सत्य है तथा
वेदों का स्वाध्याय अभ्यास
वाङ्मय (वाणी का) तप कहलाता है।।


English Translation By Swami Sivananda
Speech that causes no excitement, truthful, pleasant, and beneficial, the practice of the study of the Vedas, is called austerity of speech.

English Translation by Shri Purohit Swami

Speech that hurts no one, which is true, is pleasant to listen to and beneficial &
the constant study of the Right, Recommended Spiritual scriptures - this is austerity in speech.

Correct pronunciation of visarga is not "ha", it is just release of breath. नमः is not pronounced नमह, for example. स्तियिः संशयः is not pronounced as स्तिथिहि संशयह. This incorrect pronunciation of visarga is modernism and isn't classical sanskrit. Otherwise, thank you for your excellent efforts on your channel.

How should "brahma" word be pronounced? Should it be 'brahma(ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ)' or 'bramha(ಬ್ರಮ್ಹ)'. Please 🙏 clear my doubt.

Sir I request you to change the spelling of sanskrit it have to be Sanskrut as we pronounce.. 🙏 🙏
Foreigners can't spell that's why they speak as krit but we Indian why pronounce nd spell it....
