2:24 ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूतः सनातनः।
मनःषष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति।।15.7।।
इस जीव लोक में मेरा ही एक सनातन अंश जीव बना है। वह प्रकृति में स्थित हुआ पाँचो इन्द्रियों तथा मन (6th इंद्रिय) अपनी ओर खींच लेता है अर्थात् उन्हें एकत्रित कर लेता है।।
It is only a very small part of My Eternal Self, which is alive as Personality/Soul, drawing round itself the six senses, the mind, which have their source in Nature.

उत्क्रामन्तं स्थितं वापि भुञ्जानं वा गुणान्वितम्।
विमूढा नानुपश्यन्ति पश्यन्ति ज्ञानचक्षुषः।।15.10।।
शरीर को त्यागते हुए, उसमें स्थित हुए अथवा (विषयों को) भोगते हुए, गुणों से समन्वित आत्मा को विमूढ़ लोग नहीं देखते हैं; (परन्तु) ज्ञानचक्षु वाला योगी देखता है ।
The ignorant do not see that it is He Who is present in life and Who departs at death or even that it is He Who enjoys pleasure through the Qualities.; but they who possess the WISDOM EYE to behold Him.

There are two conscious principles (purushas) in the world: perishable and imperishable. The perishable one is all the beings, and the absolute one is said to be imperishable. 15.16
But the highest conscious principle, Purusha, is elucidated as the Supreme Self (Parama-atman), the immutable Sovereign, who has entered and then upholds and nurtures the three worlds. 15.17 #Yogananda

Correct pronunciation-
'shakham ashvattham prahur'
ashvattham- the sacred fig tree- which doesn't have future..
