Stupid question, but should the stripped back part of the braid run through the eye of the hook once you’ve set the hair? Only just starting to tie my own and it’s difficult to get the braid through the eye twice 😂

Soooo a knotless knot is just a snell knot with a longer tag line so you can tie a overhand knot at the end?

Once you’ve passed the end through the hook eye - how do you attach this to your main line? Would you suggest another knot? If so, what?
