I have a goal to start going to the meetings and bein more involved in my community. Always wanted to. Was always kind of afraid I might not be taken seriously. My focuses would be on issues revolved about mental health and maybe more involvement with big brother programs. Something to help keep some of he youth coming from broken homes to keep them inspired and motivated to keep moving forward with their lives and to not fall into the world of alcohol or drugs to self medicate. I need to get ahold of my state government to share ideas and concerns on subjects like disability. I am only 33 years old n im looking at disability already. I have 3 broken bones in my neck advanced arthritis and bone spurs in my ENTIRE thoracic spine. Yes every single vertebrae i beleive its about 12 vertibrae that are bone on bone. I also have spinal stenosis and multiple herniated and buldging discs in my thoracic spine. And id love to discus wormans comp law and disability law with my state government. The workers comp laws are terriblem. Ive been out of work for 2 years and surgeons wont touch me untio i have a denial letter or approval from my workmans comp insurance to do surgery. Which means by the time a dr can really help me get back to work in some cases it coule he half a decade. And disability is almost impossible especially if ur single as u hav2 be out of work for so long n it takes ussually about a full year to hear back unless ur litterally paralyzed or going to die soon which basically makes most people like myself homeless. Imagine dealing with this insane level of pain while the whole time ur trying to survive and not lose ur home.
