It's nice to hear someone actually demonstrate the mask without an accent from Down Under and slow enough to understand.

I started CPAP last night for the first time. I chose this mask and I'm very happy with it. I didn't feel claustrophobic at all. I have it on a table behind my bed and there was no hose obstruction at all. I'm a side sleeper and toss and turn a lot. Not sure if I did that last night, but I definitely felt better when I woke up today even though it was a short night of sleep. I'm a night owl in a morning person's world.

Ugh I almost cried last night I was so frustrated. It was night 2 with this mask and for the life of me I could NOT get a leak to stop from the nasal cushion area. The first night took a min but I tightened it really tight. After watching this video and resizing myself with the chart I think a smallwide would greatly improve things. I wish I had been “fitted” before they gave me my supplies and just assumed. Thank you for the video, I have some hope again this will work with the right supplies.

Last night was my first night with this new mask - and i hated it! But before I decided to get a different one I googled for a video on how to properly put it on and found your video. I did not even realize there were holes at the top of the cushion for my nose... and giving the details of where each part should sit on my head was very helpful. Hoping tonight is a better night.

Thank you so much for telling us there is supposed to be a constant flow of air out the front AND top! I was sure the top had a leak. And with the resmed nasal pillows I use to have the flow of air was only when I was breathing out. Such a simple thing was huge to find out as a new mask user! 🤩

This video and all your others have helped me out so much, This mask in your demo is the one I just picked up yesterday, I have never had a CPAP machine before, But I chuckled when you said some people try to put it over their nose, That was me last night I was up all night cursing this hose assy air was shooting up into my eyes driving me nuts. So now I will try it the right way tonight. Awesome Videos I subscribed and liked all your videos. Chris from Canada.

The first pillow I have had the best experience with a full face mask is "My Pillow" pillow and this particular mask, but because I am a very small female, it is difficult to find a mask that actually fits me. Kids size is too small, the XS in adult is supposed to fit but in the Quattro it leaked air all the time, but this new one seems to be better, and once I get the right pressures I need, and the fit that works, I am good to go. I have had, in my opinion, three great nights since beginning keeping track with "MyAir" at ResMed. One really terrible night with a score of 44, and then I scored a 99, a 75, and an 85. Not so bad for being on four days straight.

Nostril fitting is crucial for proper airflow. I was using large pillows and getting 10 to 20 episodes per hour. Changed to medium. Reduced that to 1-3. This mask looks like it could be a problem with getting a good seal with no leaks. I'm waiting for one now. I'm using the N30i now. It works great. We'll see if the F model is better or worse.

Great video, this model came in my subscription renewal as opposed the Phillips Dreamware I’ve had for the past four years. I have to say that the Resmed actually fits a bit better in the upper nasal cushion area and is a bit bigger in ports, also the cushion itself seems to conform much better to the nasal area and stays put. For me that’s infinitely better, as much as the Dreamware was a godsend design for me with the port on top where I belongs, this one actually works a bit better for me. It does appear to be bigger and slightly clumsy looking, but in practice it would be worth a try.

Will this prevent air leaks, I have tried like 5 different mask and they eventually start leaking air within a week at best

Is air supposed to come out where the tubes connect to the plastic front? There is
an open vent on each plastic area where it clips on. Plus there are the 2 lines of holes on the front where air comes out. It seems like a lot of air coming out of the plastic part of the mask. Is this correct? 3 open areas of front of masks where air is coming out makes this masks very noisy.
Thank you for your help.

Replace the cushion every 30-45 days?? I get about 8-12 months. This cushion is not the F20 memory foam cushion that does need replacing every 30 days, that has 3 in a pack. The F30i cushion is about $80 for one cushion, that's nuts to replace it every 30 days.
Edit: ResMed is recommending replacing the F30i cushion every 6 months.

i have the f 30 problem is the nostril holes dont seem to be large enough, I did have the dreamwear and had to use medium wide. The f 30 doesnt have that option. i wear medium but if I cut the holes marger and cut out the middle partition would it fall apart? Thanks for any input

Low audio, after cranking the volume up for this, you will have lower for other videos. Also, I am still a bit unsure about sizing. Perhaps there is a way for us to take a profile picture near a ruler and select the right size?

My nose flairs up wearing this mask, is it normal to do that? it hurts a little bit but I get used to it as I sleep

I would ask two questions. What keeps the mask sealed 'upwards' with no adjustment on the headgear hose? And, how does one find comfort laying your head on the pillow with that rubber hose against your face?

What's the most comfortable for a truck driver that is getting his first cpap. I sleep on my side and back. This is all new to me. Thanks
