As we have seen with the iphone, if you want a secure face unlock you need a notch. There is no getting around it. So I don't really feel that is a complaint. You take your pick, fuller, better looking display or a huge notch and secure face unlock. I'll pick the fuller display

Got the 8 Pro 12/256. The IR camera is actually a thing. They are used for artsy things as well as astro photography. Normal cameras have an IR filter because we don't see in IR and if they didn't remove it the exposure would be off. Anyways... I like everything about the phone except for the curved glass. Completely unnecessary.

Heavily debating on this phone. In Canada this variant is $1, 400 though! my biggest worry is the curved screen, I got so sick of those with earlier Samsung phones

It's a great phone, I'm considering it to upgrade from my LG V30S. If it's not too much trouble, could I get your confirmation on a couple of things please... what is the min/max value of ISO in manual "pro" camera mode, and also min/max value of shutter speed? Lastly, is there a way to hide that horizontal line at the bottom of the screen, which indicates you are using gestures navigation? I know Samsung has a setting to hide it but not sure about OP. As far as haptics/feedback is there any controls for vibration intensity, to adjust it. Thanks for the very insightful video.
