OnePlus' camera being bad-average on launch to good-great after launch with updates seems to be the running trend, it's been like that for a few years at least

4:10 weird artifact at 1080p and lower. But it's Youtube's compression and not the fault of the camera. Its perfect at 4k

These photos are great! If only they kept the old pop out camera and I'd have bought it. I didn't buy the 7 because it didn't have a great camera SMH. I won't buy a new flagship phone until I fall in love with it and up until now the OnePlus 7 was close and I was hoping the 8 or 8 Pro would be an improvement of it... Guess I'll still hold on to my LG G4 and it is kind of passing away slowly since it made a 6m drop in 2018. At least I can easily replace the battery.
