RANGER RAPTOR 12 MONTH OWNER REVIEW, Pro’s and the Con’s. 50000ks on the clock.
Just over 12 months ago we purchased the Ranger Raptor, with everyone’s disappointment in the 2.0L engine we decided to still go ahead with our purchase.
This truck has had some serious engineering done to take the full blown impacts we have thrown at it. So how well has the Ranger Raptor taken the abuse ?

1 con I forgot to mention was stop/start.

Comprehensive review after 1 year. Showing the road the raptor had to travel daily is awesome. Two thumbs up

It's nice to know about the Raptor's condition after 12 months despite the transmission issues posted on YT. Love the truck. Thanks for the review

If this came to the US it would outsell the big raptor. A badass truck that’s sized practically for city living as well.

Spot on about the original tyres as well. I love the ko2's but my brother inlaw sold his as they were too dangerous on wet sealed roads.

I love the 10 speed on my 2018 F150 Raptor . Haven’t had a problem with it after 2 years . The reliability in the baby raptor must be outstanding.

Thanks for the information that 35" could be put on without modification. I was looking for that piece of information for a long time.

Hi, thanks for the long term review. But let's not forget that several points are done differently in different factories. Like I also have double heated and electrical adjustable front seats. But also less space behind the rear seat backrest. I drive the European version, build in South Africa.

A barra turbo in the Ranger Raptor would have been sick! Or if they engineered a turbo diesel version.

Hard to believe I've had my Gen 2 F150 Raptor for 3 years now...interesting to hear your thoughts on the Ranger and how some things carried over between the two versions.

Nice honest review mate.
I let mine go as I’m a power nutcase.
But everything else in my Raptor I loved ❤️

It’s an engineering marvel in terms of what it can do off road. Yes they could’ve gone for a bigger displacement engine but smaller displacement twin turbo diesels seem to be the norm unfortunately. I’ve heard rumours that the 2l is only more powerful on the dyno sheets because of much higher AFR’s. If I had it my way I’d take the blue prints to the TD42 and modernise it.

I was just looking at my Raptor parked in my garage yesterday and I thought to myself, "This truck looks just like Michael J. Fox's truck for the end scene in 'Back to the Future' without the light bar". Just more jacked. I think I'm going to get a KC old school light bar now.

Great review bud. Keep up the good work.

I'm guessing you next mod is a step up on the rear bumper, right side.
