Foundation Double Crochet (FDC) Instructions:
- Chain 3
- Yarn over
- Insert hook in 3rd chain from hook
- Yarn over
- Pull up a loop
- Yarn over
- Pull through one loop (chain made)
- Yarn over
- Pull through 2 loops
- Yarn over
- Pull through 2 loops (1 FDC)
- *Yarn over
- Insert hook into “chain” made at the base of previous stitch
- Yarn over
- Pull up a loop
- Yarn over
- Pull through 1 loop (chain made)
- Yarn over
- Pull through 2 loops
- Yarn over
- Pull through 2 loops (2 FDC)
- Repeat from * until you have the number of stitches you need
