I think we all expected that, but those K02's are awful on road. I think the Geolanders are still the perfect balance for most people. Unless you are always offroad and don't daily drive your car on dirt, the K02's are just a bit much.

Good tires I'm happy with the results. I don't care about mpg am already getting 24mpg lol with all the set up I have. I enjoy going on trails and exploring so that's what I use it mostly. If I care about mpg I'll be driving my Toyota Yaris 😂.

Great video! Subaru made a great car even better, though you identified its biggest weakness, that long nose.

I had Geolanders on a 2004 Tacoma that I bought last year and it was rediculous how bad they were. I live up on a mountain and have a steep milelong dirt road going to my house and those things slipped with the entire way up. I ran KO2's on my 2000 Xterra at the time and have loved them so I put KO2's on the taco and it was a night and day difference and I was very pleased with them. I just recently had to replace the KO2's after almost 60, 000 miles and wanted try a new tire so I went with the Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W and, initially, I've been exceptionally pleased with this as well. We will see how they handle snow and how long I can get out of a set.

Bfg is one of the heavier tire options you can purchqse. It is almost 10lbs per tire heavier then other comparable competition... it may look good and give you a little extra grip while offroad, but it will kill your mpg and acceleration.

Love it, folks don't realize you have to feather that gas pedal or the turbo will go nuts if your not in X mode. (with older mods you had to hold the gas pedal all the way down and it still struggled sometimes) Those KO2's make a massive diff. Gonna get those next!

Did you run the factory size tire just in the KO2 or did you run a smidge bigger tire?

I lost 2mpg when I added bfg a/t to my wilderness. Didn’t notice a difference off road at all. Maybe the bfg would do better in the mud as I didn’t get a chance to try.

Thanks for posting your real world tests. Any feedback on your impression of the difference in ride quality, noise and MPG on the street with the KO2 tires vs stock Geolanders?

What's the full tire size you went with? I see you went 245 wide, whats the rest?
Thanks!

Do the KO2 tires allow for the full size spare to still store under the back mat?

nice. those look sick. also good to know you sized up a bit and dont have any rubbing issues! curious if the size up tire would work without the 2" lift too
