This super easy American goulash recipe is a family favorite that always has people coming back for seconds! Its packed with flavor and makes delicious leftovers that are easy to reheat and go.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium yellow onion chopped
4 garlic cloves minced
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 1/4 cup beef broth
1 15oz can tomato sauce
1 15oz can diced tomatoes
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp paprika
1 1/2 cup elbow macaroni
1 cup shredded cheddar
1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
kosher salt to taste
pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Using a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Once heated, add in the onion and cook for about 5 minutes until soft and semi translucent. Add the garlic and cook until tender. Then add in the ground beef and cook until brown. Drain out the remaining fat if necessary then season with salt and pepper.
2. Add tomato paste, broth, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes and stir to incorporate together. Evenly sprinkle in Italian seasoning and paprika and carefully add in the macaroni and mixing well. Adjust the temperature to a simmer and cook the pasta for about 12 minutes until soft and tender. Add in the cheese, mix to evenly coat, and remove from heat. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

What the hell is this atrocity, and why you are calling it goulash. Im pretty sure some hungarians would get a heart attack. Not saying it doesn't look good. It just isn't goulash

Why do you call this dish a goulash (gulyas), when doesn't have nothing to do with gulyas. Not even close. gulyas is a soup with potato, beef (cubes, not mince), vegetables, caraway seed, paprika (both powder and raw), freshly made pinched noodle... I dont know what is this, one is sure, NOT GULYAS (GOULASH).
