I will straight away tell which is the worst car trend: fake exhaust! or exhaust related items like pumped in audio, etc...

The VW Group and Mercedes are the ones who started it .... I am afraid it is spreading like wildfire or Kona EV fires

Infotainment centers, in general, are awful. At least put them seamlessly into the dash. Cosmetically, Mazda 3 & CX-30 have the best looking on top of the dash Infotainment pads...

The trend of these small displacement turbocharged engines replacing bigger naturally aspirated mills also needs to die. In real-world testing, these turbo engines get worse or no better gas mileage than naturally aspirated engines.

my least favorite style trend right now is splitting the headlight housing into the running lights/ turn signals above and then the actual headlight/high beam housing 10 inches below it. It started with the Nissan Juke, then Jeep continued it with the Cherokee, then all of the Hyundai SUVs, the newer Kia Soul, the new Chevy Blazer, and now the 2021 rogue. It looks ridiculous.

Pig noses! Hahahahaha! That’s the first time I’ve heard that description. Now I can’t get that image of those faces from the Twilight Zone episode, “Eye of the Beholder”. Someone photoshop THAT onto a BMW grille...or vice versa.

On by default stop start is so awful. It's especially awful on hot days as the air conditioner is just so much weaker without the engine

Volume knob is perfect for drive thrus and phone calls. When you need to crank down the volume quickly, get your order or call in and then crank it back up.

1. *Rear turning signals that flash over the break lights!!!* Siriously why do they make them in such way, is it really that clean of a design to have only one light? Why do they have to change the rear brake light to turn over to a turning signal? I do have to read the cards every time because morons don't use the indicators correctly let at all! now I have to guess if the front car is slowing down too?

2. Shiny/Glossy/Piano black plastics in the interior. They look nice just for once you get inside the first time, then they look like crap with all the scratches, dust and fingerprints.

3. Huge rims with thin tires. Seriously every car must have an 18", 19", 20" rims with run flat or just thin sport tires with no side wall. It makes the ride uncomfortable, they have lower gas mileage and has zero protection for the rims, but sporty feeling thought, right?! (if you plan to go to a race track with a sport/race car it's the exception)

4. Fake exhaust tips and fake engine sounds through the speakers.

5. e-Brake (electronic emergency brake). Oh the little motor at the solenoid at the back has failed?! Too bad, go and get a rock or something to park your car.

Those are my top 5 gripes.
