Humanoid Figure 02 robots tested at BMW Group Plant Spartanburg

We are exploring the use of humanoid robots in production for the first time. During a trial run lasting several weeks at our Plant Spartanburg, the latest humanoid robot Figure 02 from California company Figure successfully completed production steps that can save employees from having to perform ergonomically awkward and tiring tasks.

People never questioned that the crappy robots in Star Wars were useful and they’re at least this slow. The new Boston Dynamics robot walks much better. The thing about AI robotics, it’s like Neo in the matrix, they can train in a digital environment, run thousands of learning sessions simultaneously, and in the end BAM! all the robots know Kung Fu.

Ich möchte diesen Kollegen :-D als Vorarbeiter haben, allerdings nur bei vollem Lohnausgleich. Falls die Dinger irgendwann schneller werden sollten, kaufen und fahren die dann bestimmt auch die BMWs, wie Henry Ford vor vielen Jahrzehnten schon so ähnlich formulierte ;-) .
